Chiefs’ sign James Lowe

The back-to-back Investec Super Rugby champions have added dynamic try-scoring Tasman winger James Lowe to their squad.

The twenty-one year old has signed with the Chiefs until 2015 on the back of his outstanding form in this years’ ITM Cup.

Chiefs coach Dave Rennie said “James is having a great season.  He is quick, powerful and adds a point of difference to our backline.  He is a quality young man and we are looking forward to working with him.”

Excited by what has happened at the Chiefs the last two season, Lowe said he can’t wait to be part of it and made the decision to move North despite interest from a number of other franchises.

Lowe has played 14 games for Tasman ITM Cup team, making his debut for the Mako’s against Canterbury in 2012.  He was part of the successful NZ Schools team that beat Australia in 2010.

About Dave

I totally love sport. Rugby, cricket and soccer, but my first love will always be rugby. Other than sport I write my own poems and other interestings articles. I also love cooking. A man of many talents. When it come to Cricket I'm a Cape Cobras, Kolkata Knight Riders and Proteas supporter. Soccer there is only one team and that is Man United and Germany internationally. Other than that I'm a loving father and husband.
