Glasgow Warriors agree partnership with Rowan Glen

Local dairy business Rowan Glen has been selected as the official dairy supplier to Glasgow Warriors.

Rowan Glen will be ‘pitching in’ to support the squad’s strict nutritional plan, providing a weekly delivery of fresh local dairy products – including Rowan Glen Low Fat Bio and Bonnie Shots yogurt drinks – to Scoutstoun Stadium as the team prepare for the season ahead and throughout the coming year.

The Rowan Glen logo will be on the chest of both the home and away Glasgow Warriors shirts for the 2013/14 season.

Glasgow Warriors managing director Nathan Bombrys said: “It’s fantastic that a major Scottish consumer brand has chosen to work with Glasgow Warriors to raise the profile of their great dairy products.

“Our players absolutely love the Rowan Glen products and they’ve become a regular part of their daily diet.”

Danny Cairney from Rowan Glen said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Glasgow Warriors, reinforcing our commitment to healthy lifestyles and passion for sport.

“Rowan Glen is one of Scotland’s fastest growing brands and this partnership is a fantastic opportunity for us to grow awareness and celebrate our locally made products with our home audience.”

Using only the freshest, locally sourced Scottish milk from neighbouring farms, the team at Rowan Glen produce a range of great tasting, quality yogurts, butter and spreads and traditional red cheddar.

About Dave

I totally love sport. Rugby, cricket and soccer, but my first love will always be rugby. Other than sport I write my own poems and other interestings articles. I also love cooking. A man of many talents. When it come to Cricket I'm a Cape Cobras, Kolkata Knight Riders and Proteas supporter. Soccer there is only one team and that is Man United and Germany internationally. Other than that I'm a loving father and husband.
