Blue Bulls u/19’s: Van der Westhuizen to face WP

The Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-19 coach Paul Anthony gave tighthead prop Dayan van der Westhuizen his first start in the Absa Under-19 Provincial Championship when he named his side to play DHL Western Province at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

The prop came off the bench in the opening two matches of the competition, but due to injury, has not played since. He has now recovered and is one of two changes to the pack that played against the Leopards two weeks ago. He replaces Wilco Louw, who moves to the bench in place of Johan Ras.

Anthony also benched Ngwako Ralepelle, replacing him with Heinrich Viljoen at openside. Bobby de Wee is back on the bench in place of Riekert Hattingh.

At the back, Anthony could call on a fit-again Daniel Kriel at outside centre, with Duncan Matthews moving to the wing. Rohan Janse van Rensburg will start at inside centre in the side that is undefeated so far this season.

Kick-off is 13h15.
