Skorbinski, Laker returns for Leopards

The Leopards will play the EP Kings on Friday in Potchefstroom and will wlecome back Hennie Skorbinski at centre and Johann Laker at scrumhalf for this game.

John-Roy Jenkinson will return on the bench after his return from the Toyota Free State Cheetahs. Elardus Venter will remain at tight-head as the forwards remain unchanged for the clash.

Although they are leaving the Leopards at the end of the season, Skorbinski (Pumas), Danie Dames (Griquas) and BG Uys (EP Kings) will be in the starting line-up.

Edgar Maruthulle will once again captain the team in absence of Brendon Snyman. Both Maruthulie and BG Uys will want to prove a point against the Kings after not being considered for Super Rugby earlier this year although they were in the Southern Kings training group.

Leopards Team: Danie Dames; Luther Obi, Hennie Skorbinski, George de la Rey Tossel, Edmar Marais; Adriaan Engelbrecht, Johann Laker; HP Swart, Robert Kruger, Philip de Wet, Peet van der Walt, MB Lusaseni, Elardus Venter, Edgar Marutlulle (c), BG Uys. Replacements: Akker van der Merwe, Martin Dreyer, John-Roy Jenkinson, Strand Kruger, Bernie van Rooyen, Tiaan Dorfling, Jarryd Buys.
