Unchanged Cheetahs to travel to Newlands

Toyota Free State Cheetahs coach, Naka Drostke announced an unchanged starting XV for their clash against DHL Western Province at Newlands on Saturday evening. Kick-off is at 19h10.

The only change to the match-day 22 that beat the MTN Golden Lions 29-30 at Ellis Park this past weekend in a nail-biting encounter, is on the bench. Willie du Plessis replaces Joubert Engelbrecht as a utility back.

The Cheetahs will look to build on their fullhouse of points they earned against the Lions. They are fully aware that WP will be more focused and determined after their draw against the Vodacom Blue Bulls.

Both teams can play expansive rugby but they will probably stick to a territory and possesion game. Late in the game this may change depending on how close the encounter is.

Toyota Free State Cheetahs team: 15. Hennie Daniller, 14. Riaan Smit, 13. Johann Sadie, 12. Robert Ebersohn (vc), 11. Raymond Rhule, 10. Elgar Watts, 9. Sarel Pretorius, 8. Philip van der Walt, 7. Lappies Labuschagne, 6. Boom Prinsloo (c), 5. Waltie Vermeulen, 4. Lodewyk de Jager, 3. John-Roy Jenkinson, 2. Hercu Liebenberg, 1. Caylib Oosthuizen. Replacements: 16. Ethienne Reynecke, 17. Wian du Preez, 18. Teboho Mohoje, 19. Davon Raubenheimer, 20. Piet van Zyl, 21. Willie du Plessis, 22. Piet Lindeque
