Griquas make three changes for Bulls clash

GWK Griquas coach, Pote Human made three changes to his starting XV to face the Bulls on Friday at Loftus Versfeld. Kick-off is at 19h10.

Jaco Nepgen will come in at lock for Ligtoring Landman (broken thumb – 6 weeks), while Carel Greeff has been brought in for Marnus Schoeman (Hamstring – 2 weeks). The other change sees Jonathan Adendorff at flank as well. The rest of the forward pack remains unchanged.

After a brilliant performance the backline will remain unaltered.

On the bench there are two changes as well. RJ Liebenberg is set to make his debut for the Griquas should he be brought on during the game. Leon Karemaker comes onto the bench in place of Nepgen as cover at lock.

Griquas will look to imitate their performance against the Sharks last weekend and beat a young Blue Bulls team. They have been known to feature in the first half of the competition and with most of their away games this season during this period it might just see them get that elusive semi-final spot.

GWK Griquas Team: 15. Gouws Prinsloo, 14. Nico Scheepers, 13. JP Nel, 12. Howard Mnisi, 11. PJ Vermeulen, 10. Francois Brummer, 9. Jacques Coetzee, 8. Burger Schoeman, 7. Jonathan Adendorff, 6. Carel Greeff, 5. Jaco Nepgen, 4. Hilton Lobberts, 3. Lourens Adriaanse, 2. Ryno Barnes (capt.), 1. Steph Roberts. Replacements: 16. Matthew Dobson, 17. Nick Schonert, 18. RJ Liebenberg (debut), 19.
