MTN Lions ready silince critics

The MTN Lions ar ready to silince their critics this Saturday at Ellis Park in Jouhannesburg. They will playing the second leg Vodacom Super Rugby promotion/relegation series against the Southern Kings.

In an interview with Beeld, Kevin de Klerk made it clear that the Lions are set on returning to Super Rugby in 2014. They are already halfway there after beating the Kings 26-19 in Port Elizabeth in the first leg.

De Klerk also said that they are expecting the Kings to take the fight to SARU’s boardroom should they lose the series. This time however the Lions will be ready for this eventuality.

De Klerk mentioned that it is very ineteresting that they beat the Kings. This after everybody and his friend raved about the wonderful season the Kings had in their first year. He said this is just more prove that the Lions belong in Super Rugby.

Tickets that were made available for sale through Computicket have been sold out. There are still some tickets available from the Stadium, but it looks like it will be a sold out game as fans are showing their support for the Lions.

Kikc-off is at 17h00 on Saturday.
